第17回三沢ほっきまつり (Misawa Hokki Matsuri)

A festival celebrating Misawa's favourite winter seafood, hokki (Japanese surf clam, a.k.a. hokkigai). Events include free samples of hokki cuisine, hokki and other local product sales, a clam shucking competition, and children's taiko drumming performance.
